As 2019 comes to a close, our team is reflecting on how we’ve evolved to support our customers over the past year. There have been some major enhancements along the way, and we’re proud to collaborate with over 60,000 health and wellness professionals who make such a powerful and transformative impact on their clients’ lives. We’ve got a lot to celebrate, but our real success is our incredible customers.
Top 5 SimplePractice Releases of 2019
Let’s take a look back at the achievements we’ve been most excited to share here at SimplePractice:
Now our customers can better work with minor clients who have divorced parents, teenage clients, and/or siblings under their care. This also made it simpler to communicate with and send appointment reminders to both the parents and client.
As an added bonus, this enhancement enabled our customers to grant third-party billing contacts access to the Client Portal to view and pay for services and view invoices, statements, or superbills for a specific client.
These enhancements make it easier for our customers to view and track changes made in their account, including sign in events and which clinicians viewed or downloaded client information.
3. SimplePractice Mobile Apps
Providing better flexibility for on-the-go practice owners led to our apps experiencing a robust transformation. Now they can support custom note templates, manual appointment reminders, direct image upload, security checkups, and practice timezone support.
Improving the way our customers interact with their clients is top priority. That’s why the Client Portal evolved to simplify the scheduling and billing experience. Additionally, clients can now upload their own documents (including audio files and images) to the portal and seamlessly share these documents with their clinician.
Adding administrative notes, or an electronic sticky note, to their client’s file can serve as a quick reminder without having to grant the whole team access to the client’s clinical notes, maintaining HIPAA compliance.
What’s in store for 2020
We believe that there’s no such thing as a finished product. Instead, it’s all part of a journey in which we’re constantly working to improve. It’s time for our team to set some New Year’s resolutions.
