What's New: Secure Messaging on the SimplePractice Mobile App

Previously, when you received a Secure Message, you could either see it directly in your SimplePractice account or you’d get an email if you weren’t logged in. Now you can opt to receive a push notification on your mobile phone and respond in a timely manner directly from your SimplePractice app. Just tap on the notification, and your app will open, so you can send an immediate response.

Customers love using Secure Messaging to communicate quickly with their clients and their teams. We already showed you how Secure Messaging is much safer and more convenient than email or texting. Now you can receive a push notification, then send and receive secure messages from your mobile app. This great new feature is only available with the latest release of the app, so be sure to update your app and start receiving push notifications for priority messages today!

*While notes created in the SimplePractice app are secure and HIPAA compliant, some integrated dictation softwares may not be. Make sure to check that your phone’s dictation tool is HIPAA compliant before using it to take notes in the mobile app.
