At SimplePractice we realize that scheduling and billing go hand in hand- like grilled cheese and tomato soup or chocolate and peanut butter… Okay, so no one loves administration like they love sweets, but some things are just better when they’re together.
When scheduling and billing are combined in SimplePractice both tasks become easier. And today, running your practice just became a little bit simpler. Along with setting your practice’s default service code for new appointments…
Now you can set a default session length for individual service codes.
Let’s say your initial intake sessions are 90 minutes but sessions after that are usually 45 minutes- now SimplePractice will figure this out. Just set a default session length for your most common billing codes and SimplePractice will adjust the session length on new appointments automatically.
See what we mean? Billing and scheduling really do go better together.
Give it a try for yourself by going to My Account > Settings > Service Codes & Rates. Or just click here to be whisked away to scheduling nirvana… okay, maybe it’s not nirvana but anything that makes scheduling and billing a little easier is a welcome relief.
