The latest version of the SimplePractice mobile app is now available in the App Store. Along with some general updates, we’re excited to bring a lot of previously web-only available features to the mobile experience. Through constant innovation, we deliver you more flexibility and functionality.
Highlights of this update include:
- Manual Appointment Reminders
- Direct photo upload
- “Load Previous Note” for Essential customers
- AirPrint functionality (iPhone only)
Manual Appointment Reminders
If your practice enables reminders to be sent when creating or rescheduling appointments, you can now send reminders when creating or rescheduling on your SimplePractice app to keep communication consistent between you and your clients. For clients with reminders enabled, you will be given the option to send reminders after you create or reschedule their appointment:
Direct photo upload
Sometimes a Progress Note doesn’t tell the full story of the appointment. When viewing a session, click on Attachments and use your camera to take a photo and upload it directly without storing it to your camera roll, or choose an existing photo or document on your phone.
Load Previous Note for Essential Customers
For our customers on the Essential plan, you can now use the “Load previous” feature when completing your notes to make your documentation even more efficient.
We’ve enabled Apple’s AirPrint feature for all notes and documents within the mobile app. When viewing a completed Progress Note or opening an uploaded file, click on the ellipsis in the upper right to open the printer options.
The latest version of the SimplePractice Android app is available now in the Google Play Store. Along with some general updates we’re excited to bring a lot of web-only features to the mobile experience.
Manual appointment reminders
For practices with appointment reminders enabled, now you can send an email to a client whenever you create or reschedule an appointment.
Direct photo and document upload
When a Progress Note doesn’t tell the full story of the session, use your camera to take a photo of a paper assessment and upload it directly to a specific session, or add a photo from your camera roll or stored documents.
“Load previous”and DAP/SOAP notes for Essential customers
For our customers on the Essential plan, you can now use the DAP or SOAP templates for your Progress Notes. If you have the Essential plan you can also use the “Load previous” feature when completing your Notes to make your documentation even more efficient.
