The team at SimplePractice is seeking an elite Director of Marketing with a track record of growing established saas products. You’ll lead the marketing department and join our highly ambitious leadership team as we take our profitable, bootstrapped startup to the next level. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of marketing from strategic planning, process optimization, and growing your team to rolling up your sleeves and doing the detailed work of creating content and testing new channels. A startup mentality is mandatory- no job is too big or too small and you’ll be required to prioritize while working iteratively in order to consistently deliver tremendous value. You’ll be evaluated on your ability to hit a single growth metrics while maintaining a target acquisition cost. This position will report to the CEO.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Find new ways to communicate the benefits of our product to health and wellness professionals
  • Plan marketing campaigns and see them through to completion
  • Take ownership over all marketing channels (website, blog, community, email, social, search, and paid ads)
  • Brainstorm opportunities with the leadership team
  • Create and manage a detailed marketing roadmap and calendar
  • Set quarterly goals and lead a team to meet them
  • Update the marketing site with a new content strategy
  • Research and implement new marketing tools
  • Build customer personas
  • Work with our data analyst to identify opportunities and optimize efforts
  • Push status updates to keep the entire company up to date on marketing projects
  • Learn the software and work closely with the Product team to position features
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Business Development to leverage marketing content

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing
  • A track record of growing established saas products
  • Previous experience building a Marketing Team
  • A strong marketing and brand vision you’re not afraid to advocate
  • Data informed but know the value of gut instincts
  • Adaptable when priorities change and know how to be scrappy
  • Can handle working under tight deadlines, and juggle multiple projects at once
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, can present complex subjects in a way that everyone can understand regardless of subject knowledge
  • A natural leader with high standards who thrives within a mission-driven team
  • Overall good vibes
