Timeline
In the coming months, you'll receive emails letting you know when you can opt into the transfer and when your overnight data transfer will occur. Opt into the transfer to create and explore your new SimplePractice account. Once the transfer is complete, you can try out all of SimplePractice’s features free for 30 days.
What's ahead
Solo account owners can opt into the transfer to SimplePractice starting in February. Group account owners can opt in starting in April. Here’s what else you can expect during the transfer process.
Group practice

Agree to transfer to SimplePractice
During this period, you’ll have full access to your Luminello account. You can also explore your new SimplePractice account and its features.
March–June 2024
Transfer date notification
You’ll be notified of your specific transfer date via your Luminello account and email.
March–June 2024
Data transfers overnight on transfer date
Once your transfer begins, you won’t be able to add new information to your Luminello account, but you can still log in to view and export your data. Learn more
30 days after transfer
Luminello account is deleted
You’ll no longer have access to your Luminello account, but can continue to access your data on SimplePractice.
