Carol is the co-founder of Elevated Health Partners and brings more than a decade of healthcare reimbursement and payer expertise to mental health practices. She has led credentialing and contracting operations across all 50 states, overseen network participation for more than 600 clinic sites, and secured national payer contracts that expanded coverage and reduced claim denials. At Elevated Health Partners, she helps practices secure their own direct payer contracts and build a reimbursement foundation so they can grow independently. A first-generation Hispanic woman, wife, mother, and bilingual professional, Carol partners with practice owners who want to run their practice like the business it is. Sheila is the co-founder of Elevated Health Partners, a consulting firm that helps mental health professionals build ethical, sustainable private practices. She is also the founder of Healing Pathways Counseling & Supervision Center in Basking Ridge, NJ, which she grew over six years from a solo practice into a group practice of nine clinicians and administrative staff. A Licensed Professional Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, EMDR Certified Therapist, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant, she has specialized in trauma treatment since 2014. Sheila consults with clinicians, supervisors, and practice owners on practice growth, leadership, supervision, and EMDR. As a first-generation Ecuadorian-American, wife, and mother of two, she brings cultural awareness and authenticity to her work.
